Chai Whiskey Highball

Recipe from Chef Katie Petrich

A refreshing spiced-up cocktail!


  • 2 ounces Whiskey

  • 1/2 ounce Chai Simple Syrup

  • Ginger Beer

  • Ice

Method: To make Chai Simple Syrup

  • Mix 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, and 1 teaspoon of PUR Spices Chai Masala in a small saucepan.

  • Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved. It will take about 5 minutes.

  • Let cool completely and store in an air-tight container. *This will last about a month refrigerated.

This will make enough leftovers to try in more of your favorite cocktails or mocktails.

  • Fill your favorite cocktail glass with ice, add whiskey and simple syrup, and fill the rest of the glass with ginger beer.

  • Give the drink a quick stir to combine.

  • Garnish with a piece of crystallized ginger for a finishing touch.
