Green Chutney Paneer Kathi Rolls

Pieces of paneer marinated in spices and sautéed with peppers & onions and layered onto a warm, golden-brown paratha with a green chutney yogurt sauce.


Makes 5-6 wraps

Ingredients

  • 5 frozen parathas

  • 1 cubed block of paneer

  • 1/2 sliced green pepper

  • 1/2 sliced red pepper

  • 1/4 sliced red onions

  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 tsp green chutney powder + 2 tsp yogurt

  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp kasoori methi

  • 1/3 cup yogurt

  • fresh cilantro

  • fresh lime juice

  • pickled onions

  • chaat powder


Method:

  • In a bowl, mix together 1/3 cup of yogurt, salt, turmeric, chili powder, ginger/garlic, lime juice, and garam masala. Mix in the paneer and set aside.

  • Heat up some oil and sauté peppers and onions until softened. Add in the paneer mixture and cook for 4-6 minutes or until some turn golden brown.

  • Cook parathas for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Mix together green chutney powder with 2 tsp of yogurt. Spread chutney mixture on paratha. Add the paneer mixture.

  • Layer on the pickled onions, fresh cilantro, and fresh lime juice.

  • Top with some chaat powder and green chutney powder. A drizzle of red chutney works well here too. Enjoy!
