Mini Masala Chai Rolls with Espresso Glaze

A deliciously sweet treat to pair with your morning coffee or indulge in as a warm dessert after dinner!

  • 1 store bought crescent dough sheet

  • Flour

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2tsp melted butter

  • 1 1/2 tbsp PUR Spices Chai Powder

  • 1/8 tsp Chai Powder for glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • A few tsp of brewed espresso or coffee


  • Set oven to 325 degrees

  • Sprinkle some flour on your working surface, flatten out dough over floured surface - pressing the perforations together to create one dough sheet

  • Brush on some melted butter, spread brown sugar all over the dough, evenly sprinkle Chai Masala over dough

  • Roll dough as tight as possible starting from the shorter end. Cut into 1 inch rolls

  • Bake at 325 for 8-9 minutes or until golden brown

For espresso glaze

  • Whisk together powdered sugar and 1/8 tbs of Chair powder with coffee

  • Start by adding 1-2 tsps of liquid to the sugar

  • Slowly add more as you go to get the glaze consistency

  • Drizzle glaze on rolls while they're warm
